Artery with Prof. Marcus Graf Pretend You Don't Exist - 2

We will be visiting the Arter exhibition “Pretend You Don’t Exist”, consisting of works selected from the Ömer Koç Collection, on Tuesday, March 26, accompanied by Prof. Marcus Graf.

Curated by Selen Ansen, the exhibition titled Suppose You Are Not Here explores the possibilities of the intimacies established between different objects as a result of a collector’s dreams and realizations, and the possibility of transferring the created body from the home as a space to the museum. The exhibition, which includes works by nearly 400 artists, as well as anonymous works, serial productions and various items, spreads across the 4th and 3rd floor galleries of Arter. While it was organized to accompany a singular life in a private space, the selection, which was opened to the public from a personal collection through the mediation of an art institution and a curatorial perspective, creates a world between times and forms that defies the logic of classification.
