Iconography is a science that decodes and analyzes symbols in visual arts. Prof. Dr. Marcus Graf; explains to the participants how to examine works of art using iconography methods. In this seminar; in addition to revealing the meaning behind important and common symbols as examples, it also underlines how to research the artist's life and environment in order to perceive the meaning of a single work in the context of the whole work.
Our seminar, which will be held on Thursday, October 19th between 11:00-12.30, is open to individual participation.
